Sterling Cemetery Association

The cemetery at Sterling Center, New York began with its first burial in 1829 and incorporated in 1837. It is the final resting place of many of Sterling’s earliest settlers, of many of its veterans from the Revolutionary War to the present, and of family members and friends.

With the cemetery’s limited funds it is becoming more and more difficult to maintain the grounds in a way that will not embarrass the Town or the families of those interred here.

The Sterling Cemetery Association is hopeful that you will consider donating to this worthy cause as well as remembering the Cemetery in your will.
